Funny, I had the same thing happen. I got the last bottle of DuganA on the shelf and the beer guy was unloading the Harvest Dance so I grabbed one of those as well. We must have just missed each other.

Currently drinking the duganA and loving it. Plan on cracking the Harvest Dance tomorrow night. Nice and fresh....well, fresh for a beer than has been aged at the brewery.

Y'all put me in a shopping panic, so I went down this morning. There is now one Harvest Dance left at Arena.

Pretty interesting. DuganA seems to have sold out in about two days. Harvest Dance in about a day. What was Stone thinking!

Sampled my bottle of DuganA last night and I have to say that it was not one of my favorite Avery offerings to date. Found the bittering hops to be pretty harsh and unbalanced with the rest of the hop/malt bill. Also got the strong cat urine aroma that you often get with Simcoe. Don't think I would grab this one again.

I'm getting the feeling that you are NOT a fan of cat urine aroma!!! Stay away from Budweiser because that has cat urine flavor.

You are correct sir, not a big fan of Simcoe. And I'll do my best to stay clear of this thing you call 'budweiser', sounds scary.

I liked DuganA. It was completely bitter and intense. My only complaint is that the alcohol is not well hidden. It smacks you in the face. I

I think this is an IPA bomber week for me. Go that Kern River Outstanding IPA tonight. Ballast Point Sculpin Wed? Port High Tide Thursday? It's in the stars.....

I think I actually like the DuganA better than the Mahajara...I know.....sacreligous. I found it to have a cleaner, crisper mouthfeel. The hops were also more resinous/piney and slightly more bitter...which I liked. The malt was a little too much in the background but it seemed to work for this beer. The esters weren't as overpowering as they are in Maj. Seemed a little easier to drink than Maj.
